About Soft
Soft was the sixth album by Congolese artist Bibi Den’s. This album came after his much acclaimed Salisa, which saw the release of Tu me rends dingue, one of Bibi’s greatest hit song. With Soft, Bibi Den’s explore the zouk genre. Indeed, most of the 11 songs are zouk ones, where Bibi Den’s expresses his lover trademark.
On the collaboration side, Bibi Dens shared some songs with some renowned artists. Ivory Coast star Meiway, Congolese vocalist Luciana and guitarist Lokasa Ya Mbongo, among others, contributed.
1. JeVeux (I want)
No doubts when you listen to this song: this is a zouk album. The tone is set and Bibi goes like “je veux passer ma vie avec toi”, meaning I want to spend my life with you. The now polyglot Bibi also sings in Creole!
